Hi, I'm Andy Parkinson

While physical training builds the body, it is the mind that sustains performance. Based in Winchester, I am a Sport Psychologist in training dedicated to helping athletes, teams, and individuals master the mental side of movement.

My approach integrates my background as an England Athletics endurance coach and S&C specialist to offer a truly holistic service. Whether you are an elite athlete seeking a competitive edge, a team looking to strengthen cohesion, or an individual navigating the psychological barriers to regular exercise, I provide a calm, evidence-based space to build confidence and lasting well-being. How I Work

My practice blends several evidence-based approaches to give athletes simple, effective tools they can use immediately:

  • Humanistic practice – supportive, person-centred, collaborative

  • CBT principles – understanding thoughts, emotions and behaviours

  • Motivational Interviewing – building confidence and behaviour change

  • High-performance coaching – structure, planning and progression

This integrated model allows me to support athletes in both the mental and physical aspects of performance.
